Behind the beans
Forager showcases the seasonality of coffee. Exploring new origins and flavours, highlighting producers and celebrating relationships. Roasted for espresso, this coffee changes with the seasons.
Origin: Woman Power Zongalica, Veracruz, Mexico
Woman Power Zongalica (WPZ) is a co-op of female producers in Veracruz, Mexico. They use sustainable farming practices and agro-ecosystems; such as intercropping and forest conservation, to preserve the region’s biodiversity. The coffee is pulped, washed and sun dried to perfection.
As an espresso it is packed with citrus and stone fruit flavours, slightly floral and supported with a dark brown sugar sweetness. When paired with milk, the flavours soften with notes of peach and crème caramel.
